FromInsuldirect exports of suspended ceilings cannot be made and subsequently imported intoSONarchitect. What needs to be done is calculated withInsulthe index of improving sound insulation provided by the suspended ceiling, calculating the difference between a constructive element (roof type) with the suspended ceiling installed and without the suspended ceiling installed.

Once the difference is calculated, we must go to the "Assign/View Materials" section ofSONarchitectand create a new material in the user database of the "Suspended ceiling". We must introduce the physical characteristics of such material and the sound insulation improvement index calculated above:

Note: It should be borne in mind that the suspended ceiling is not part of the union between the different constructive elements, so it does not contribute to transmission across secondary roads. That is why inSONarchitectthese elements are treated in particular, in accordance with the ruleIso 12354.
