Calculate the noise level in enclosures when it comes from other enclosures

This example defines the spectrum of a custom noise source located in a particular enclosure, in order to calculate the levels received in the adjacent enclosures.

1) Draw the plan of the next building on one floor and assign the different constructive elements:

2)Define the noise spectrum of the issuing enclosure (by bands of 1/3 octave) in the paragraphFile/Project Settings/Noise Spectre. The spectrum can be typed manually or by uploading the file from a previously stored spectrum. Save this spectrum to the sns file:

3) Configure the project requirements in paragraphFile/Project Settings/Requirementssetting up, for example, that in the type of enclosure "Habitable" the level (L2,nT) from a different unit of use from any type of enclosure. and paint this enclosure in red in the 3D model).

4) Configure the requirements for example, the "Noisy enclosures" enclosures type contains an internal noise level. By selecting custom we will be able to upload the SNS file created in point 2:

(5) Assign the types of enclosures and units of use to the project.

5) We calculate. In each of the enclosures defined as "Habitable", the levels received and the isolation values of the separator elements (in green those which meet the requirements are defined in red.
